A-CHA is a global community and open to all members who hold themselves to a high level of ethics and professionalism.
Hypnotists who have completed training at Scottsdale Hypnosis Institute (SHI) will receive their first year of A-CHA membership for free. Please purchase your certificate only, if you have a free membership from SHI.

Certified Hypnotist Member
Certified Hypnotists with 100 hours or more of classroom or online training from an approved hypnosis school.
A-CHA Membership Application, proof of school completion, legible front/back photo of drivers license.

Clinical Hypnotherapist** Member
Clinical Hypnotherapist is a Certified Hypnotist with proof they have also been trained with at least 2 other specialities*. **

Master Hypnotist or Master Hypnotherapist**
A Master Hypnotist or Master Hypnotherapist has practiced as a full-time hypnotist for at least 2 years, has 4 or more specialties, or worked as a part-time hypnotist for more than 4 years.
A-CHA Membership Application, proof of school completion, proof of completion of specialties, years in practice, legible front/back photo of drivers license. Pass oral interview with A-CHA Board member, write a 1000 word paper on hypnosis to be published on our site, and pass the A-CHA written exam.

Associate Member
A student of hypnosis or interested person or patron, who has not completed training. An associate member who is actively enrolled, has a plan to complete hypnotist training, or is a supportive patron of hypnosis.

*Specialties are at least 16 hours of specialty training in such areas as weight loss, smoking cessation, anxiety, hypnobirthing /hypnomothering, pain management, rewiring the brain, cancer, regressions, forensic hypnosis, sexual freedom hypnosis, etc.**If your state does not allow these certifications without advanced counselor, psychology, or psychiatric training, this responsibility is on each member to know the unique laws of their state that govern hypnotists..
We are a non-profit company, so any donations will be put back into the community to support Veterans, our community, and struggling populations in our state. We pay taxes on any profit to this company and honor all federal, state and city laws.
